Application
SBS Elastomeric bitumen Membrane is suitable for waterproof protection projects such as roofs, basements, walls, toilets, pools, canals, subways, caves, highways, bridges and airport runways, etc. It is a waterproof material with a wide range of uses and excellent performance. It can be applied in a single layer or in multiple layers, and can be hot-melted or cold-bonded.
Construction
basic treatment:
(1) Before the waterproof layer is laid, all other works must be completed, and then the base layer should be cleaned.
(2) The base layer must be flat, firm, free of looseness, sand, bulging, bumps and cracks. If the above phenomenon occurs, it must be repaired with cement mortar with 107 glue.
(3) The base layer should be relatively dry, with a moisture content of not less than 8%.
(4) Parapet walls, yin and yang corners, wall-passing pipes, expansion joints and drainage slopes shall meet the design requirements.

Cautions
(1) The waterproof base surface (leveling layer) must be hard, flat, dry (the moisture content should not be greater than 10%) and clean, and there should be no anti-sand and various sharp objects.
(2) No construction shall be carried out when there is snow, water and frost on the operation base.
(3) The membrane should not be constructed under negative temperature conditions.
(4) When making the membrane, you should always pay attention to extruding the air with your hands to avoid bulging.
