Non woven butyl roll is a type of building waterproofing material composed of butyl rubber and non-woven fabric, mainly used for waterproofing projects in roofs, basements, and other areas. Butyl rubber itself has excellent air tightness and water tightness, which can effectively prevent leakage, while non-woven fabric provides enhanced support as the tire base, improving the tensile strength and durability of the material.
This material usually appears in the form of rolls or tapes, and can be directly attached to the substrate during construction without the need for heating or complex tools. It belongs to the "cold construction" scheme and is suitable for home maintenance or professional engineering.
Its core advantages include aging resistance, UV resistance, adaptability to temperature changes (such as -40 ℃ to 120 ℃ environment), as well as good flexibility and self adhesiveness, which can maintain sealing effect with substrate deformation.
Scope of Application
For use under Metal, Wood, Tile, Slate & Shingles, specially designed as a high-performanceunderlayment for most steep roof coverings.
New construction, re-roof applications, and flashing details where tiles may be stacked onrooftops for extended periods of time.
