Infiltration requires osmotic pressure, which is equivalent to capillary pressure in concrete. The higher the surface tension differential between solid and liquid, the smaller the wetting Angle, and the greater the permeability to the capillary's interior. The depth of water brought in determines the penetration depth of crystalline active waterproof coating.
Its waterproof effect is primarily derived from its own polymerization reaction, which involves the polymerization of small molecules or low molecules with high activity into inert macromolecules or polymers, thereby blocking the water seepage channel of the base to achieve an efficient waterproof effect. Because the crystallization of living properties is carried out in aqueous solution, these small molecules or low molecules can only float on the surface of the polymerized base. And because the active small molecules cannot penetrate deeply into the base crystal, the base can be extensively wetted before building, so that the small molecules are carried into the base with water flaws polymerization crystallization.
It can be seen that the active material's infiltration depth is determined by the depth of water, i.e., the deeper the infiltration, and the permeability principle of the active material is the same as that of the aqueous solution.
The active material's infiltration depth is related not only to the porosity of the base, but also to the time that the active property solution remains on the base surface. Because the base is loose and the active property remains on the base surface for an extended period of time, the active material will penetrate deeper.
Under normal conditions, the crystals formed by the active ingredients in the permeable crystalline waterproof material can completely cover the faults and voids in the concrete surface layer 550mm deep, resulting in a rigid waterproof layer with good permeability.
