Description
The TPO waterproofing is a thermoplastic polyolefin waterproofing membrane for residential TPO roofs. It is based on thermoplastic polyolefin synthetic resin, which combines ethylene propylene rubber and polypropylene using advanced polymerization technology. We added antioxidants and anti-aging agents. The new waterproofing membrane can be made of reinforced waterproofing membrane with polyester fiber network as internal reinforcing material. The product is a synthetic polymer waterproofing product.
Features
The TPO roof on residential combines the performance advantages of EPDM and PVC, with the former being weather resistant and low temperature flexible, and the latter being weldable. Secondly, unlike traditional plastics, this material exhibits high rubber flexibility at room temperature and can be molded like plastic at high temperatures. Finally, this material has good processability and mechanical properties, and has high-strength welding properties. After adding a layer of polyester fabric between two layers of TPO material, it can enhance its physical properties and improve its fracture strength, fatigue resistance and puncture resistance.
Application
This product is suitable for building exposed or non-exposed roof waterproof layer, and easily deformed building underground waterproofing, and especially suitable for light steel structure roof, with reasonable level design and qualified construction quality. It can not only reduce the weight of the roof, but also have excellent energy saving effect, and can also achieve waterproof and anti-condensation. It is the preferred waterproof material.

The main detail treatment method of TPO roof for residential
Inner&outer corners of the building
After the TPO waterproof membrane paved and pasted, TPO prefabricated parts will be used for the inner and outer corner of the building. The prefabricated parts and TPO waterproof layer are welded with hot air to reduce the leakage potential.
TPO membrane fixation
Before fixing, put seal glue on the top of the batten basic area and then fix it with metal batten. And then, seal the batten with the sealant.
